A monument to all the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War was erected in Glazov for the 30th anniversary of the great Victory in 1975. The sculpture group, depicting Soviet soldiers, is complemented by a stele in the form of a tall spire. The monument is inscribed with the names of the heroes who gave their lives for their country. The memorial is regularly repaired and reconstructed, and the surrounding area is also kept in immaculate condition.

The first stone house to grace Cathedral Square was the home of the merchant Borodin. This small, cozy stone shop sold "grocery, food, fruit, and other goods." This building was constructed at the turn of the 20th century. A distinctive feature of this structure was the lack of right angles where the walls met. It is believed that this building belonged to the merchant Nekrasov and housed a coach house where coachmen would rest during shift changes. Borodin's business premises have now been rebuilt, but interestingly, Borodin was a wine merchant, and the site of the former wine shop is now occupied by the Glazovskaya Vodka Trading House LLC.

At the insistence of the Glazov urban bourgeoisie, the Alexander Nevsky Chapel was built in Glazov in 1890, following the martyrdom of Emperor Alexander II. In 1937, the future Emperor Alexander II visited Glazov. The chapel was built opposite the house where the heir to the throne spent the night. Alexander II was named after Alexander Nevsky, hence the chapel's name – the Alexander Nevsky Chapel.
In the early 1930s, the chapel in Glazov was completely destroyed following the Bolsheviks' rise to power. It was only restored in the late 1990s using old drawings and photographs.

The Smagin-Timofeev merchant house in Glazov was built in the first half of the 19th century. It was the city's first private stone home. The structure, built in the classical style, has always been considered an architectural landmark of Glazov.
The Smagin-Timofeev mansion in Glazov is a regional architectural landmark. It also plays a significant role in the history of Glazov, as it stands on the site of the home of P.F. Tchaikovsky, the famous composer's grandfather. This is confirmed by a memorial plaque on the house: "On this site stood the house in which Pyotr Fyodorovich Tchaikovsky, mayor of Glazov and grandfather of the great composer P.I. Tchaikovsky, lived from 1796 to 1818."
